Job Description

A modern ambulatory surgery center in Hilliard, Ohio is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its anesthesia team in a part-time or PRN capacity. This facility focuses exclusively on gastrointestinal procedures and offers a predictable clinical environment with no call responsibilities and no inpatient coverage.

The CRNA in this role provides anesthesia services for outpatient GI cases, working in a well-equipped center that emphasizes patient safety, efficiency, and consistency of care. While most cases involve IV sedation, general anesthesia is occasionally required and experience with GA is welcomed but not mandatory. This position is ideal for CRNAs seeking a high-income opportunity in a controlled outpatient setting with a balanced schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative anesthesia assessments for outpatient GI patients
• Administer anesthesia and sedation for endoscopic procedures
• Monitor patients throughout the intraoperative and recovery phases
• Identify and respond to physiologic changes or anesthesia-related complications
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and surgical team members
• Document anesthesia care in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Maintain compliance with all ambulatory surgery center protocols

Practice Environment

• Outpatient ambulatory surgery center specializing in GI procedures
• Independent CRNA practice model with no medical direction
• No call, nights, weekends, or inpatient responsibilities
• Single-site assignment with a consistent care team

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated annualized compensation range of $300,000–$320,000 (based on schedule)
• Overtime pay available for hours worked beyond 40 per week
• Malpractice coverage negotiable
• Paid time off and benefits structure negotiable based on employment arrangement

Job Requirements

• Active Ohio RN and CRNA licensure
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current NBCRNA certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Ability to safely and independently administer anesthesia in an outpatient setting
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative clinical approach
