Job Description
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team in Stockbridge, Georgia. The CRNA will work under the medical direction of anesthesiologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered, evidence-based anesthesia services. This position offers an opportunity to work with patients at all acuity levels in a variety of settings including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preoperative collection and documentation of patient data
- Review, request, and order laboratory/diagnostic studies (as permitted by state law)
- Develop and implement an anesthesia care plan under the direction of an anesthesiologist
- Administer analgesic and anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids, or blood products
- Perform airway management and facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia
- Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support
- Evaluate patient’s response to anesthesia and take corrective action if necessary
- Place and manage regional anesthetic techniques (as delineated by clinical privileges)
- Ensure proper ventilation and oxygenation in the post-anesthesia period

Job Requirements
- BA/BS in Nursing with RN Licensure in Georgia
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, clinical quality, or performance improvement
- Certified by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
- Current BLS certification
