Job Description

Powell Valley Healthcare is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join an independent practice anesthesia team in Powell, Wyoming. This W-2, facility-employed role offers a highly autonomous practice environment with a structured 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, making it an excellent option for CRNAs seeking both professional independence and extended time off.

Performs a comprehensive history and physical exam of patients. Obtains informed consent, select, order, and administers pre-aesthetic medications, aesthetics, medications, fluids, and blood products intraoperatively and intraprocedural.

Independent practice, 3 CRNA model, running 2 ORs. 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation. Mix of ortho, gen, ortho-spine, podiatry, OB/GYN, min Peds ENT. OB coverage, 160-170 deliveries per yr, approx. 50% with epidurals, 6-7% primary c-sec rate.

Call Responsibilities

• Call occurs during the four-week on rotation
• First call covers the first two weekends of the rotation
• Weekday call is every other day during the on rotation
• No second call beyond the first-call structure

Compensation & Employment Details

• Annual salary: $300,000
• Full-time W-2 employment
• Facility-employed position
• No medical direction

Job Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Wyoming
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
• Current NBCRNA certification
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited four-year institution
