Job Description

Capital Area Anesthesia is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide anesthesia services at plastic surgery centers in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. This 1099 opportunity offers excellent hourly compensation, flexible scheduling, no call responsibilities, and an all-CRNA practice environment focused exclusively on cosmetic surgery procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for outpatient cosmetic surgery procedures involving face and body surgeries
• Administer general anesthesia in office-based surgical settings
• Independently manage perioperative anesthesia care without anesthesiologist supervision
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all phases of anesthesia care
• Collaborate with plastic surgeons and clinical staff in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Compensation & Benefits

• $170 – $180 per hour compensation
• 6-hour daily minimum guarantee
• Daily earnings ranging from approximately $1,000 – $1,800
• Flexible PRN scheduling
• No weekends required
• No call responsibilities
• Potential part-time opportunity available

Job Requirements

• Current Louisiana CRNA license required
• NBCRNA certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Outpatient surgery center experience preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• No fellowship training required
