PRN CRNA – Digestive Health Center (GI Sedation) – Reno, Nevada
Job Description
Digestive Health Center is seeking a CRNA to work as a 1099 independent contractor with a private GI group in Reno, NV. This role focuses on low-acuity ambulatory patients in an AAAHC-accredited surgery center and offers a strong work–life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule and no call or weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for GI procedures in an ambulatory surgery center setting
- Perform preoperative evaluations and develop appropriate anesthetic plans
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and adjust anesthesia as needed to ensure safety and comfort
- Provide postoperative care and assessment, supporting positive patient outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ASC staff to support efficient, patient-centered care
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 daily rate: $1,500 per day
- Monday–Friday schedule with no call or weekend responsibilities
- All cases performed in an ambulatory surgery center (AAAHC accredited)
- Signing bonus negotiable (details discussed during interview and onboarding)
Job Requirements
- Current and active Nevada CRNA licensing
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with the ability to practice independently
- Comfort working in a GI-focused ambulatory setting
- Commitment to quality patient care and positive patient experience
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN 1099 role, structured around a Monday–Friday schedule
- No nights, weekends, or call
- Low-acuity GI patient population in a private group practice environment
- Opportunity to structure compensation as a contracted daily rate or full-time arrangement, depending on mutual agreement
