Job Description
Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, Texas is seeking an experienced PRN CRNA to provide ongoing coverage for busy days, vacations, and scheduling needs. CRNAs will practice with a high degree of autonomy in a direct hospital contract role rather than through a large anesthesia management company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of bread-and-butter surgical cases
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
- Administer and monitor anesthesia independently throughout procedures
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and patient safety
- Participate in OB anesthesia coverage
- Perform regional anesthesia procedures when applicable
- Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff in a team-focused environment

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Texas license required
- NBCRNA certification required or negotiable if in process
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
- OB anesthesia experience required
- Regional anesthesia experience preferred
- Experienced candidates preferred
- New graduates negotiable
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN position with ongoing scheduling needs
- Independent practice model with no medical direction
- Negotiable first call responsibilities
- Home call with 30-minute response time when scheduled
- No second call requirements
- Usually receive post-call day accommodations
- Hospital-based practice limited to one facility
- Moderate workload with diverse case mix
