Job Description
Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is a longstanding multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in the Hagerstown region. This PRN CRNA role offers a predictable daytime schedule and the opportunity to work across a variety of outpatient case types in a supportive care team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic plans, options, and risks with patients
- Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor physiological status throughout procedures
- Perform clinical interventions as needed to ensure patient safety
Compensation & Benefits
- W-2: $230 per hour with malpractice coverage included
- 1099: $235 per hour (provider supplies own malpractice coverage)
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Schedule & Work Environment
- Daytime shifts
- 1 OR with general anesthesia capability plus treatment and PACU areas
- Care team led by Marwan Wiggins, MD
- Case mix includes pain management, orthopedics, podiatry, plastics, ENT/dental, gynecology, general surgery, and endoscopy
