Job Description

Cumberland Valley Surgery Center is a longstanding multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in the Hagerstown region. This PRN CRNA role offers a predictable daytime schedule and the opportunity to work across a variety of outpatient case types in a supportive care team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic plans, options, and risks with patients
• Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor physiological status throughout procedures
• Perform clinical interventions as needed to ensure patient safety

Compensation & Benefits

• W-2: $230 per hour with malpractice coverage included
• 1099: $235 per hour (provider supplies own malpractice coverage)

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Schedule & Work Environment

• Daytime shifts
• 1 OR with general anesthesia capability plus treatment and PACU areas
• Care team led by Marwan Wiggins, MD
• Case mix includes pain management, orthopedics, podiatry, plastics, ENT/dental, gynecology, general surgery, and endoscopy
