Job Description

Prosser Memorial Hospital, an all-CRNA group located in South-Central Washington (30 minutes west of Tri-Cities, WA, and 45 minutes east of Yakima, WA), is seeking an independent, well-rounded Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our expanding team. This role offers a high level of autonomy, excellent compensation, and a rotating schedule with significant time off.

Case Variety

• ENT (“healthy peds”)
• Orthopedics (arthroplasties and arthroscopies)
• Urology
• General Surgery
• OB-GYN (45-60 deliveries per month, 60% epidural rate via EPCA/PIEB infusions)
• Podiatry
• Abundant Endoscopy

Required Skills

• General Anesthesia (GA)
• Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC)
• Spinals, Epidurals, Peripheral, and Truncal Blocks
• Central Lines & Invasive Monitoring (infrequent)

Soft Skills & Expectations

• Strong work ethic and solid communication with surgeons, patients, and staff
• Ability to assess and manage available resources in a Critical Access Hospital
• Active participation in hospital committees
• EPIC-EMR for documentation (remote access available)

Schedule & Call

• Rotating schedule: approximately 3 weeks on / 1 week off, 2 weeks on / 1 week off
• Primary position/on-call for 24 hours with a post-call day off
• Second-call position rotates to provide backup, preanesthetic consults, PACU management, and OB service support
• Callback response time: 30 minutes

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Compensation: $330,000+ (1099 Independent Contractor)
• Malpractice insurance covered by the hospital
• Relocation and sign-on bonus negotiable

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous independent CRNA experience preferred
• New graduates with motivation and strong skills will be considered
• Bilingual (Spanish) highly desired
