Job Description

Rush University Medical Center, a top-ranked academic hospital in downtown Chicago, is hiring full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, a sign-on bonus, and opportunities to teach and mentor SRNAs. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia for a wide range of inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
  • Administer anesthesia, monitor patients intraoperatively, and manage recovery
  • Function as a faculty member and supervise SRNAs in the nurse anesthesia program
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and interdisciplinary medical teams

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $250,000 – $350,000

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
  • Current Illinois RN and APN licensure
  • Active CPR and ACLS certifications
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teaching skills

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Flexible shifts available: 8, 10, or 12 hours
  • Minimal call requirements, no in-house call
  • Paid to carry pager and additional call-in pay when required
  • Collaborative team within a nationally ranked academic health system
