Job Description

UK St. Claire in Morehead, Kentucky is seeking full-time CRNAs to join a collaborative hospital-based anesthesia team. This opportunity offers exceptional flexibility with scheduling options, allowing providers to tailor their work-life balance to fit their lifestyle.

CRNAs will practice in a supportive environment with a wide variety of cases and the opportunity to expand procedural skills, including regional anesthesia and line placement. The role offers a high degree of autonomy with minimal medical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop patient care plans
• Administer general, MAC, and neuraxial anesthesia
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure safety
• Perform or assist with regional anesthesia and line placements
• Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $300,000
• W-2 employed position
• Sign-on bonus negotiable
• Additional pay opportunities available
• Malpractice coverage provided ($1M / $3M)
• $2,000 annual CME allowance plus AANA dues covered

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Kentucky license or eligibility
• NBCRNA certification required or in process
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• New graduates and experienced CRNAs welcome
• Willingness to adapt to a variety of case types

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position with flexible and customizable scheduling options
• Call rotation approximately 1:6 with post-call day off
• No second call responsibilities
• Hospital-based setting with diverse case mix
• Low medical direction model with approximately 10% supervision
• Opportunities to develop procedural skills including epidurals and regional blocks
• Collaborative team including anesthesiologists and CRNAs
