Job Description

New Horizon Anesthesia is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its team in the Albuquerque–Rio Rancho, New Mexico area. This full-time opportunity is based in an endoscopy center and offers a highly predictable, lifestyle-focused schedule with no call requirements.

This role is ideal for providers seeking a consistent work environment without nights, weekends, or productivity-based compensation. CRNAs will work independently in a CRNA-only model, focusing primarily on outpatient procedural anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for endoscopy and outpatient procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop care plans
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Manage airway and patient stability during procedures
• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care and monitoring
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient case flow

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed annual compensation of $400,000
• 1099 independent contractor structure
• No productivity requirements
• 8 weeks off annually
• Malpractice coverage negotiable ($1,000,000 / $3,000,000)
• Predictable schedule with no nights or weekends

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• NBCRNA certification required or in process
• Active New Mexico license or eligibility
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• New graduates and experienced CRNAs welcome

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time 1099 position
• No first call or second call responsibilities
• No nights, weekends, or holiday requirements
• Endoscopy center setting
• CRNA-only independent practice model
• Approximately four CRNAs needed
• Predictable, lifestyle-focused schedule with optional alternative scheduling
