Job Description

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a high-paying, independent practice opportunity. This role offers the ability to work at the top of your license in a true autonomous model, supported by experienced anesthesiologists when needed.

This position is ideal for CRNAs seeking clinical independence, a diverse and high-acuity case mix, and a strong team-oriented environment focused on professional growth and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia care across a wide variety of surgical cases
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer and manage anesthesia including advanced airway techniques
• Insert arterial lines, central lines, and perform regional anesthesia blocks
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage post-anesthesia recovery
• Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesiologists as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• $400,000–$425,000 earning potential
• 1099 or W-2 employment options available
• Additional call pay estimated around $40,000 annually

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active or eligible New Mexico license
• NBCRNA certification required (or in process)
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Ability to practice independently in an autonomous model
• New graduates welcome

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time or PRN options available
• Flexible shift options: 8s, 10s, or 12s
• Approximately 2–4 call shifts per month
• 26-week scheduling model available
• Independent CRNA practice environment
• High-acuity case mix including orthopedic spine, neurosurgery, bariatrics, ENT, urology, general surgery, and more
• Dedicated OB team with optional future involvement
• Strong regional anesthesia program
