Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers in Nashville, Tennessee. Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $220,000–$300,000

Schedule & Practice

  • Full-time position
  • Immediate start available
  • No first call
  • No second call
  • Primarily weekday schedule with occasional evening and weekend coverage
  • Medical direction practice model
  • Collaborate with over 150 anesthesiologists and 225 full-time CRNAs
  • Adult academic medical center practice with diverse surgical specialties

Clinical Practice

  • Wide variety of adult anesthesia cases including trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedics, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, outpatient surgery, and regional anesthesia
  • Perform arterial line placement regularly
  • Opportunities to perform spinal anesthesia, central lines, and epidurals
  • Collaborative care team model with anesthesiologists

Qualifications

  • Tennessee CRNA licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • NBCRNA certification preferred (board eligible candidates accepted)
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Current PALS certification required
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
