Job Description

This full-time CRNA role at Azura Surgery Center in Brownsville, Texas offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no call, no weekends, and no holiday duties. The position supports a busy outpatient vascular surgery center within Azura Vascular Care, a national leader in minimally invasive vascular care and part of Fresenius Medical Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and documentation.
• Order or review diagnostic tests as allowed by state regulations.
• Develop and manage individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Select, prepare, and administer anesthesia, analgesia, and adjunct medications.
• Perform airway management, including fiberoptic intubation when indicated.
• Provide intraoperative monitoring, hemodynamic management, and ventilatory support.
• Oversee patient emergence, recovery, and post-anesthesia evaluation.
• Implement acute and chronic pain management strategies.
• Insert and manage vascular access lines as permitted by privileges.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safety throughout perioperative workflows.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding anesthesia care.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual income range: $220,000 – $350,000
• Full-time W-2 position
• No weekends and no on-call requirements
• Outpatient surgery center schedule (Monday–Friday)
• Travel expectations: approximately 10–15%

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current state CRNA licensure
• NBCRNA certification or recertification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Malpractice insurance eligibility
• Preferred: 5+ years CRNA experience (8–12 years clinical experience ideal)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an outpatient procedural setting

• Procedures include diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional vascular care
• State-of-the-art procedural suites
• Moderate physical demands; prolonged standing and potential patient positioning
• May require PPE in procedural areas
