Job Description

CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, TX is hiring a full-time CRNA for a hospital-employed W-2 position. This role offers high autonomy, a supportive MDA/CRNA team culture, broad case mix (excluding hearts), and an extremely flexible master rotation schedule with no overnight OR call.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia across a wide case mix including general, ortho, vascular, gyn, urology, plastics, and OB
• Deliver independent OB coverage including epidurals and spinals
• Work collaboratively with CRNAs and MDAs in a cohesive team model
• Utilize advanced anesthesia equipment and maintain high-quality patient care

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $220,000 – $300,000
• Guaranteed 40 hours/week pay
• Premium pay: $200/hr for hours over 40
• Shift differentials: $12/hr evenings, $14/hr nights, $16/hr weekends (stackable)
• Holiday pay: 1.5× rate
• Sign-on incentive / student stipend up to $55,000
• 403(b) with employer match up to 4%
• Upfront PTO: 180 hours year 1, 240+ hours thereafter
• Additional 40 hours CME + $2,500 CME allowance

Job Requirements

• Active APRN license in Texas
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative care team
• Comfort with a broad range of cases and OB epidural/spinal coverage

Schedule & Work Environment

• No overnight OR call
• In-house OB only
• Shared schedule model with flexible rotation (easy approvals for time off)
• Shifts available: 8s, 12s, 16s, and 24-hour OB
• Faith-based, nonprofit health system with strong CRNA autonomy
