Job Description

Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, part of Foundation Health Partners, is seeking a full-time CRNA to join its experienced anesthesia team as a nocturnist. This in-house night shift position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity to practice independently in a supportive, rural hospital environment with a low-volume, bread-and-butter caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-house anesthesia coverage from 7PM – 7AM
• Manage OB, emergency, and urgent GI procedures
• Participate in a collaborative team model with anesthesiologist backup available
• Work independently in a dynamic yet lower-acuity night shift environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $315,000 – $378,000 DOE
• $40,000 sign-on bonus
• $15,000 annual retention bonus
• $5,000 annual performance incentive
• $5,000 CME allowance
• 29 weeks off per year

• Paid malpractice, CME, and licensure
• Up to 90 days transitional housing

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible to practice in Alaska
• Comfortable with OB and emergency anesthesia cases
• Experience working independently in rural or hospital settings preferred

Schedule & Work Environment

• Nocturnist position: 7PM – 7AM
• Options for 1 week on / 1 week off or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• In-house call model (no home call)
• Team of 5 anesthesiologists and 12 CRNAs
