Community HealthCare System (CHCS) in Onaga, Kansas is seeking a full-time CRNA to join their anesthesia team. CHCS is a Critical Access Hospital offering a wide range of services including obstetrics, general surgery, endoscopy, ENT, orthopedics, urology, and healthy pediatrics. This is a rural practice with strong autonomy, local housing available, and the option for additional compensated work during off weeks.

Key responsibilities include providing anesthesia for a variety of cases such as OB, endoscopy, general surgery, ENT, ortho, podiatry, and healthy pediatrics. The primary schedule follows a 7 days on / 7 days off model, with the option to provide additional dual coverage 3 days a week during the off weeks (Monday–Wednesday, 0700–1300) at CHCS campuses in Holton and St. Marys. During scheduled weeks, the CRNA will be on FIRST call every night and is expected to respond within 30 minutes for in-house laboring mothers and within 60 minutes for all other cases.

The position offers a base compensation of $260,000 under a 1099 contract, with additional compensation available for optional shifts. Local housing is provided. Applicants should be experienced in OB, general surgery, and endoscopy, and must meet response time standards for critical access coverage.
