Job Description

Gove County Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 26-week locum assignment beginning November 2025. This independent practice opportunity offers 24-hour call coverage and a wide range of procedures including C-sections, general anesthesia, and pain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, obstetrics (C-sections), and pain procedures
• Respond to call requests within 30 minutes, 24/7 coverage for 13 weeks annually
• Maintain accurate and timely medical record documentation and billing
• Participate in hospital quality assurance programs and policy development

Compensation & Benefits

• $280,000 annual 1099 compensation
• Flexible contract with ability to provide services at nearby hospitals (non-conflicting)
• Autonomous CRNA model – no MD supervision

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Kansas license and CRNA certification
• Professional liability insurance ($300,000/$600,000 coverage required)
• Skills in epidural placement required
• Must supply personal pager/cell for communication

Schedule & Work Environment

• Assignment Duration: 26 weeks (beginning November 2025)
• On-call 24 hours during scheduled weeks (13 weeks annually)
• Facility: Gove County Medical Center – Critical Access Hospital
