Job Description

A locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is needed for part-time coverage in Clinton, Iowa. This opportunity offers independent practice covering both adult and pediatric cases. Flexible scheduling available, with dates needed starting July 21-25 and potential ongoing assignments into 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia independently for adult and pediatric patients (healthy and sick PEDS)
• Manage all aspects of anesthesia care without supervision
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation
• Deliver safe and effective perioperative anesthesia care

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active or eligible Iowa state license (will consider licensing candidates)
• NBCRNA certification required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with adult and pediatric anesthesia (both healthy and sick patients)
• Must be comfortable working independently with no significant recent employment gaps (over 12 months)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (includes 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Part-time assignment with potential for ongoing coverage through 2025
• Independent CRNA practice environment
