Job Description

This locum tenens CRNA position in Iowa offers a high-paying, ongoing contract with flexible scheduling and a strong mix of outpatient and inpatient cases. Providers will work two weeks per month with a quick start available, supported by emergency privileges and full credentialing assistance. This assignment includes a weekly stipend to cover expenses and competitive all-inclusive hourly compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a variety of specialties including orthopedics, ENT, OB/GYN, cataracts, and scopes
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and create individualized anesthesia plans
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Manage post-anesthesia recovery and ensure patient safety
• Respond to emergent situations as needed (emergency privileges provided)
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and facility teams to support efficient patient flow

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 independent contractor
• $2,600 per day ($260 per hour)

Job Requirements

• Active Iowa CRNA license (required)
• Ability to start quickly via emergency privileges
