Job Description

Cary Medical Center is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative and well-established anesthesia team. You’ll become part of a department that values autonomy, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care in a modern surgical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, urology, pediatrics, and thoracic cases
• Perform spinal, epidural, peripheral nerve blocks, Bier blocks, arterial lines, and central line placement
• Work independently within a medical supervision model
• Take 1 in 4–5 first-call shifts (reasonable call-back volume)

Job Requirements

• CRNA certification through AANA
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Maine
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in general anesthesia techniques including airway management and regional blocks

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Five operating rooms with modern anesthesia equipment
• Low trauma volume
• Call rotation: 1 in 4–5; no guaranteed post-call day off
