Job Description

Northern Arizona Healthcare is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its anesthesia team at either Flagstaff Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center, or Verde Valley Medical Center near Sedona. This role offers a collaborative medical direction model and the opportunity to work in one of Arizona’s most scenic regions.

CRNAs work alongside anesthesiologists in a supportive team environment with a diverse case mix and strong professional culture. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia patient evaluations
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery monitoring
• Perform regional anesthesia and spinal techniques when appropriate
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range approximately $230,000 – $270,000 annually
• $50,000 sign-on bonus

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• New graduates welcome

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 hospital-employed position
• Flexible scheduling with 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• Typical work week 3–5 days depending on shift length
• No overnight shifts for CRNAs
• Weekend coverage approximately once every five weeks
• Evening shift rotation approximately once every six weeks
• Team includes approximately 16 CRNAs and 21 physicians in a 1:3 medical direction model
• Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, trauma, endoscopy, cardiology, and radiology
