Job Description

This full-time CRNA opportunity at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) offers the chance to practice at one of the most advanced academic medical centers in the Southeast. This position provides exposure to complex specialty cases, flexible shift structures, and the professional stability of a nationally recognized Level 1 Trauma facility. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care across a broad scope of specialties including trauma, cardiac, pediatric cardiac, HPB, liver transplant, neurosurgery, OB, pediatrics, neonates, and NORA cases.
  • Participate in advanced anesthesia services such as regional anesthesia and labor epidural management.
  • Perform pre-operative assessments, intraoperative management, and postoperative evaluations.
  • Select from a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, nights, overnight call, and 8-, 10-, 12-, or 24-hour schedules.
  • Engage in teaching opportunities for SRNAs and learners from affiliated academic programs.
  • Collaborate within a large anesthesia team consisting of more than 100 CRNAs at CMC.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Starting Salary: Entry-level CRNAs starting at $215,996/year
  • Sign-On Bonus: $100,000
  • Shift Options: Days, afternoons, nights, overnight call; 8/10/12/24-hour options
  • Case Exposure: Trauma, heart and heart transplant, HPB, liver transplant, neuro, OB, pediatrics, neonates, NORA
  • Employment Type: W-2 hospital-employed role

Job Requirements

  • Active North Carolina RN license
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • CRNA licensure required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) required
