ECAA @ Wilmington SurgCare is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a part-time lifestyle-focused role at a high-performing ambulatory surgery center in coastal North Carolina. This position offers predictable weekday hours, no call, no weekends, and no holidays, making it an ideal opportunity for CRNAs prioritizing work-life balance while maintaining a diverse and engaging clinical practice.

Practice Environment

This role is based in a large, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center operated by ECAA-Anesthesia Specialists, one of the most established private anesthesia practices in the Southeast. CRNAs work in a medically directed model and collaborate with a stable team of anesthesiologists and surgeons across 10 operating rooms. The culture emphasizes flexibility, efficiency, and long-term clinician satisfaction.

Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope

• Orthopedic anesthesia, including total joints
• General surgery
• Plastics and laparoscopy
• Cervical and lumbar spine cases
• ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology
• Occasional pediatric cases
• No obstetrics, trauma, or craniotomies
• Regional anesthesia and spinal anesthesia performed regularly

Schedule & Workload

• Part-time position with full-time and PRN options available
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Typical hours: 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
• First relief commonly between 2:00–4:00 PM
• No nights
• No weekends
• No holidays
• No call responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provision of anesthesia care in an ASC setting
• Placement of arterial lines and spinal anesthesia
• Preoperative evaluation and anesthesia planning
• Intraoperative management and postoperative handoff
• Collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and OR staff

Compensation & Employment Structure

• Employment model: W-2, 1099, or PRN options available
• Annual compensation range: $180,000–$210,000 (part-time equivalent)
• $40,000 sign-on / retention bonus paid quarterly over three years
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours over 40
• Negotiable relocation assistance

Candidate Requirements

• Active North Carolina CRNA license required
