Program Requirements
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure:
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience:
- Minimum of one year of full-time critical care nursing experience as an RN.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Additional Program Features
- Accreditation: The DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
- Clinical Experience: Students will complete more than 2,500 supervised clinical hours in various settings, including major medical centers and rural sites, as well as simulated experiences in a state-of-the-art laboratory.
