Job Description

Eye SurgiCenter LLC in Sebring, FL is seeking an experienced PRN CRNA to support a high-volume ophthalmology ASC. This role is ideal for CRNAs who want to expand their independent practice skills in a fast-paced surgical environment with strong clinical autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia for ophthalmologic surgical procedures
  • Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments
  • Monitor patient vitals and maintain airway safety throughout cases
  • Administer anesthetic agents and injections as needed
  • Oversee and collaborate with the Pre-Op Assessment RN
  • Document patient information accurately (paper charting)
  • Review equipment and participate in emergency preparedness recommendations

Compensation & Benefits

  • 1099 independent contractor
  • $1,600 per day (8-hour guarantee)
  • Occurrence malpractice coverage provided (limits: $1M / $3M)
  • Opportunity for eye block training if needed

Job Requirements

  • Active Florida CRNA license
  • NBCRNA certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Current NPDB report
  • Minimum 2 years independent practice experience (CRNA-only)
  • Eye block skills preferred but training available
  • Strong injection, airway, and patient-monitoring skills

Schedule & Work Environment

  • PRN position
  • Must be available Monday, Tuesday, and occasional Wednesday
  • On-site Ophthalmology ASC
  • No supervision—independent CRNA practice
