Griffin Hospital in Derby, Connecticut is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a highly respected, physician-owned private practice through IAA (Integrated Anesthesia Associates), Connecticut’s largest independent anesthesia group. This position is offered as a W-2 role with the ability to work full time, part time, or per diem, depending on provider preference. CRNAs may choose from a wide variety of shift lengths, including 8-, 10-, 12-, 16-, and 24-hour shifts, allowing for highly customizable schedules. The anesthesia care model is a balanced care team approach, with approximately 50% medical direction, providing an engaging mix of personal cases, supervision, and collaborative practice with anesthesiologists.

IAA is an award-winning group consisting of more than 300 CRNAs and 200 physician members, with deep clinical integration across major hospitals and ambulatory centers throughout Connecticut. The practice supports academic involvement through partnerships with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, offering opportunities to participate in resident, SRNA, and fellow education, as well as clinical research for those interested.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care within a collaborative anesthesia care team model
• Manage assigned cases independently and under medical direction as appropriate
• Participate in perioperative patient care across hospital-based services
• Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, residents, and nursing staff
