I just got accepted to CRNA school (starting this Fall 🎉) and I’m super excited — but also nervous. For those of you who’ve been through it… what’s one thing you wish you knew before starting?

SLEEP! Lol. But honestly probably the best advice is to simply don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Everyone will struggle at something, sometime during school but the key is to be consistent. Show up, well rested, and do the work asked. Start building thick skin early on, because clinical can be brutal, but remind yourself it’s only temporary. Also, record lectures and replay them on your commutes, I found this to be a super easy way to absorbe the information and it felt like it was also saving me time. Congrats to you!

Stay disciplined, but don’t forget to give yourself grace — balance and self-care are key to surviving CRNA school.

Stay organized and give yourself grace; it’s intense, but you’ll grow so much through the process.
