Job Description

This full-time CRNA position at Reeves Regional Health offers an exceptionally balanced schedule, high autonomy, and the opportunity to practice the full breadth of anesthesia in a growing Critical Access Hospital. As one of two CRNAs providing all anesthesia services, you will work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to support expanding surgical and obstetric services. With no call, no weekends, and every Monday off, this role provides a stable lifestyle paired with competitive compensation and long-term career potential.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive anesthesia care for general surgery, GI, OB, orthopedics, and ophthalmology cases as services expand.
Provide autonomous anesthesia management while collaborating with surgeons, nursing teams, and other clinicians.
Perform pre-operative assessments, intraoperative management, and post-anesthesia recovery oversight.
Support an active OB service averaging 20 deliveries per month.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital safety and regulatory standards.
Optional: Pick up additional call or weekend shifts for premium compensation.

Compensation & Schedule

Salary Range: $316,000–$380,000 with scheduled annual increases (approx. 3% yearly)
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Time Off: 8 weeks total (6 weeks PTO + 2 weeks CME after 90 days)
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000
Relocation Assistance: $7,500
No call, no weekends, every Monday off
Optional call/weekend coverage available at premium rates
Robust benefits package: Medical, RX, dental, vision, retirement, life insurance, and PTO/EIB
Retirement: TCDRS Program with 7% employee contribution and 250% employer match (8-year vesting)
Annual CME allowance: $4,500
Full reimbursement for licensure, AANA membership, NBCRNA, certifications, and malpractice

Job Requirements

Active CRNA certification and eligibility for Texas licensure
Ability to practice independently in a rural hospital setting
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based anesthesia care
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location

Reeves Regional Health is located in Pecos, Texas, approximately 80 miles from Odessa. As one of the largest employers in Reeves County, the hospital provides stability, innovation, and expanding service lines for the region.
