Job Description

OrthoMed Anesthesia is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time, 1099 position providing anesthesia services at CHRISTUS Surgery Center – Alamo Heights, with additional coverage at CHRISTUS Stone Oak Surgery Center in San Antonio, Texas. This opportunity offers a predictable weekday-only schedule in an efficient outpatient surgery center environment, making it an excellent choice for CRNAs prioritizing stability and work-life balance.

CRNAs in this role will work within a collaborative anesthesia care team model in a modern ASC setting. The case mix reflects typical outpatient surgery center procedures, including orthopedics, GI, ENT, and general surgery. The practice emphasizes patient safety, efficiency, and high-quality care supported by experienced clinical leadership.

This position includes a guaranteed annual income and sign-on bonus, with no call, weekends, or holiday requirements. It is well-suited for experienced CRNAs looking for consistent hours, competitive compensation, and a professional practice environment in the San Antonio area.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Guaranteed annual compensation of $320,000

Job Requirements

  • Active Texas CRNA license or ability to obtain
  • Current NBCRNA certification
  • Comfort practicing in an ASC environment
  • Healthy pediatric experience preferred
