Job Description

Northern Light Mayo Hospital is seeking a full time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for their critical access hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Due to the independent nature of the position, the successful candidate should have at least 2-5 years of clinical CRNA experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, independent anesthesia care across a variety of surgical specialties
  • Deliver anesthesia services in a 25-bed critical access hospital setting
  • Participate in weekday and 1:4 weekend call rotation (low call volume)
  • Collaborate with surgical and medical teams in a supportive, rural hospital environment

Job Requirements

  • Active Maine CRNA license or eligibility
  • NBCRNA certification
  • Minimum of 2–3 years clinical CRNA experience required
  • Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time schedule with 1:4 first call and low-volume second call rotation
  • 13 weeks off annually
