Job Description

CHI Health Bergan Mercy (Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy) seeks a quality-driven, patient-centered CRNA to join a robust academic team in Omaha, NE. Work alongside anesthesiologists in a care team model with opportunities to teach SRNAs and participate in a diverse, high-acuity case mix at a 391-bed Level I Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of cases including General, Trauma, Ortho, Endo, Vascular, Urology, OB, Neuro, and Cardiac
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, develop anesthetic plans, and manage intraoperative anesthetics
• Ensure safe emergence, post-anesthesia recovery, and appropriate documentation in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate within an academic environment and precept SRNA students
• Support anesthesia services across main CUMC campus and CHI Midlands Health ASC as needed

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (graduate of an accredited program)
• Eligibility for Nebraska licensure
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• New graduates encouraged to apply

Schedule & Work Environment

• Care team model with 18 physicians and 45 CRNAs
• Variety of schedules available, including call and no-call positions
• Academic setting with anesthesia residency and SRNA program accreditation in process
• EPIC EMR
