Job Description
Sonora Anesthesia Services Medical Group is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its well-established team at Adventist Health Sonora. The group has proudly served the hospital for over 30 years and offers excellent compensation, benefits, and a healthy work-life balance in a scenic Sierra Nevada foothill community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, urology, OB/GYN, robotic, and ENT.
- Collaborate with a team of 5 anesthesiologists and 5 CRNAs in a collegial, supportive environment.
- Utilize regional anesthesia techniques for a range of cases.
- Participate in a rotating second call schedule (1:4), taken from home.
- Perform clinical duties in a 6-room OR and GI suite.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual compensation up to $320,000, including call pay.
- Additional earning potential for extra call and Friday coverage.

- $3,000 annual CME allowance.
- 401(k) with 6% profit-sharing contribution.
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Friday–Sunday: Off.
- Second call from home: 1 in 4.
- No cardiac, neuro, or trauma cases.
Job Requirements
- Current certification as a CRNA (NBCRNA).
- Active California RN and CRNA licenses (or eligibility).
- Strong regional anesthesia skills preferred.
- New graduates and experienced CRNAs encouraged to apply.
