Job Description

St. Joseph Healthcare, part of the Covenant Health system, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its collaborative anesthesia team in Bangor, Maine. This full-time role offers a consistent daytime schedule with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. CRNAs will provide anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases in a supportive and mission-driven environment that prioritizes work-life balance and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across six operating rooms and three endoscopy suites.
• Manage anesthesia for a balanced case mix including orthopedics, general surgery, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, and podiatry.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and fellow anesthesia providers in a collegial setting.
• Maintain compliance with safety, documentation, and hospital policies.

Compensation & Schedule

• Annual Salary: $265,000
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours only
• Call: None – no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Student Loan Repayment: $10,000
• Sign-On Bonus: Generous incentive offered
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000
• Retirement: 403(b) with employer contribution and optional 457(b) plan

Job Requirements

• Board Certified CRNA
• Eligible for Maine CRNA licensure
