Job Description
Atrium Health is hiring full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to support its expanding anesthesia services across the Greater Charlotte region. This hospital-based role offers access to a wide range of clinical environments, including large tertiary academic centers, regional community hospitals, and specialized surgery centers. CRNAs practice within a structured care team model while maintaining opportunities to build advanced skills across high-acuity and specialty services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures across multiple hospital campuses
- Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care as assigned
- Monitor patients throughout intraoperative and postoperative phases
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams
- Document anesthesia services in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards
Clinical Environment & Case Mix
- Opportunities across 12 Atrium Health facilities in the Charlotte area
- Case exposure includes general surgery, orthopedics, cardiac, pediatric cardiac, transplant, neurosurgical, OB, vascular, thoracic, robotics, trauma, and outpatient surgery
- Large academic medical center experience available alongside community hospital practice
- Free-standing surgery centers and endoscopy centers included in the system
- Teaching and committee participation opportunities available
Schedule & Work Structure
- Full-time W-2 employment with immediate start availability
- Day, afternoon, and weekend shift options available
- Call responsibilities are negotiable based on site and assignment
- Multiple opportunities to work above committed hours with incentive pay
- Practice locations include urban, suburban, and regional campuses
Compensation & Benefits
- Updated salary scale with starting base salary of $215,996 for new graduates
- $100,000 sign-on bonus
- Additional incentives: nights ($40,000), weekends ($20,000), call ($5,000)

Job Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN and CRNA licensure
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Eligibility for hospital credentialing across Atrium Health facilities
