Job Description
Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a dedicated CRNA to join its well-established anesthesia team at Our Lady of Lourdes Women & Children’s Hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. This role offers outstanding compensation, flexible scheduling, and a diverse case mix, all within a supportive and collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for pediatrics, OB, ENT, general surgery, radiology, GI/urology, and orthopedics
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient safety and stability during procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgical teams to deliver high-quality care
- Ensure safe post-anesthesia recovery and patient follow-up
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 compensation: $330,000–$350,000 annually
- 8 weeks of vacation with guaranteed post-call days off
- Paid malpractice coverage, including tail

Job Requirements
- Board-certified CRNA
- Louisiana CRNA license (or eligibility)
- New graduates welcome with mentorship and support provided
- Commitment to full-scope anesthesia practice and patient-centered care
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time 1099 position
- 1:7 call rotation with guaranteed post-call day off
- Daily staffing includes 6 CRNAs and 1 in-house MD (12-hour shifts, 24-hour coverage)
- Collaborative care model with 8 CRNAs and 5 anesthesiologists
- No cardiac, neuro, or transplant cases
