Job Description
A small community hospital in the Fort Myers area is seeking a full-time CRNA to join its anesthesia team. This 1099 position offers high earning potential with no call responsibilities and a manageable case mix. Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, endoscopy, orthopedic, minor vascular, and minor neurosurgical cases
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient response during procedures
- Ensure smooth emergence and post-anesthesia recovery
- Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to support optimal outcomes
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 independent contractor position
- $150/hour, approximately $312,000 annually (40 hrs/week, 52 weeks)
- No employee benefits included
- Stable income with consistent schedule
Job Requirements
- CRNA certification and active Florida license
- Proficiency in general, endo, ortho, minor vascular, and minor neuro anesthesia
- Ability to work independently in a community hospital setting
- Strong communication and patient care skills

- Full-time schedule, approximately 40 hours per week
- No call responsibilities
