Job Description

A small community hospital in the Fort Myers area is seeking a full-time CRNA to join its anesthesia team. This 1099 position offers high earning potential with no call responsibilities and a manageable case mix. With four operating rooms and planned service expansion, this role provides a stable and rewarding practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, endoscopy, orthopedic, minor vascular, and minor neurosurgical cases
Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
Administer anesthesia and monitor patient response during procedures
Ensure smooth emergence and post-anesthesia recovery
Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to support optimal outcomes

Compensation & Benefits

1099 independent contractor position
$150/hour, approximately $312,000 annually (40 hrs/week, 52 weeks)
No employee benefits included
Stable income with consistent schedule

Job Requirements

CRNA certification and active Florida license
Proficiency in general, endo, ortho, minor vascular, and minor neuro anesthesia
Ability to work independently in a community hospital setting
Strong communication and patient care skills

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time schedule, approximately 40 hours per week
No call responsibilities
Four operating room community hospital
Supportive team with planned service expansion
