An established private anesthesia practice in the Tulare, California area is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for full-time or part-time positions. Practice Environment
This is a private practice anesthesia group with an exclusive contract at a single hospital and affiliated surgery center. CRNAs are employees of the anesthesia group and practice in a medically directed care model approximately half of the time. The group is expanding and maintains a collegial, supportive clinical culture.
Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope
- Bread and butter anesthesia cases
- General surgery, urology, and gynecology
- Orthopedic anesthesia
- Regional anesthesia performed occasionally
- Obstetric anesthesia performed sometimes
- Rare pediatric and vascular cases
- No cardiac, thoracic, neuro, trauma, or chronic pain cases
Schedule & Workload
- Full-time or part-time positions available
- One first-call shift per week
- One second-call shift per week
- Call structure negotiable
- Ten weeks of time off annually for full-time CRNAs
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provision of anesthesia care in a private practice setting
- Participation in a partially medically directed care model
- Performance of neuraxial and regional techniques as needed
- Preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative handoff
- Collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
Compensation & Employment Structure
- Annual compensation: approximately $500,000+ for full-time
- Employment model: 1099
- Sign-on bonus negotiable
- Paid time off: ten weeks annually
- Additional benefits negotiable, including malpractice and retirement options
Candidate Requirements
- CRNA certification required or in examination process
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- Comfort with bread-and-butter anesthesia practice
- New graduates considered on a negotiable basis
