A large, well-established hospital system in Abilene, Texas is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a highly stable anesthesia department known for exceptionally low turnover. This is a definite W-2 opportunity with a structured weekday schedule, no call, and no weekend or holiday requirements—an increasingly rare combination in hospital-based anesthesia.

The anesthesia department consists of a collaborative team of 19 anesthesiologists and 11 CRNAs, providing coverage across a broad and clinically engaging case mix. Services include interventional and non-interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, obstetrics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, and general surgery. This diverse scope allows CRNAs to maintain strong clinical breadth while working within a supportive, team-oriented care model.

This role offers a predictable and sustainable work environment designed to promote long-term retention. CRNAs work regular weekday shifts using the Epic EMR system, with no call responsibilities and no weekend or holiday coverage. The department’s culture emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, and respect for work–life balance, which has contributed to its near-zero turnover rate.

Compensation is highly competitive, featuring a $330,000 base salary, a $20,000 sign-on bonus, six weeks of paid time off, and a $5,000 relocation allowance. Malpractice insurance is fully covered. The position is scheduled to begin February 1, 2026, and is well-suited for experienced CRNAs or motivated newer graduates seeking long-term stability in a mid-sized Texas community with strong amenities.

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements
