Job Description

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join its Level 1 Trauma Center at one of North Florida’s leading academic medical centers. This hospital-based role offers the opportunity to practice in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while working alongside experienced trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary care teams. CRNAs at UF Health Jacksonville provide anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical services, supporting complex trauma, emergent cases, and scheduled procedures in a mission-driven healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures
• Provide anesthesia care across diverse service lines in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Collaborate closely with attending anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams
• Maintain patient safety standards throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive W-2 compensation starting at $200,000+
• $75,000 sign-on bonus for 0.5 FTE and above (prorated by FTE)

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification
• Eligibility for Florida licensure
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity hospital environment
• Strong clinical judgment and team-based communication skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time hospital-employed position
• Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• No first-call requirement
• Infrequent second-call coverage
