Job Description
Palo Pinto General Hospital in Mineral Wells, Texas is seeking a full-time CRNA to join its experienced anesthesia team. This high-income opportunity offers independent practice, a moderate workload, and a schedule designed to support family time and outdoor recreation.
Located just 40 minutes from Fort Worth, this role is ideal for providers who want autonomy, diverse cases, and a direct hospital contract in a growing community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of bread-and-butter surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and create individualized care plans
- Administer and monitor anesthesia independently throughout cases
- Manage OB anesthesia coverage and neuraxial procedures
- Perform regional anesthesia techniques when appropriate
- Ensure safe post-anesthesia recovery and patient outcomes
- Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff in a team environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual compensation of $350,000
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Negotiable sign-on bonus
- Direct contract with hospital
- Malpractice coverage available (200/600)

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Texas license required
- NBCRNA certification required or in process
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
- OB anesthesia experience required
- Regional anesthesia experience preferred
- Independent practice experience preferred
- New graduates not accepted
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position starting immediately
- Independent practice model with no medical direction
- First call approximately every fifth night
- Home call with 30-minute response time
- No second call responsibilities
- Usually receive post-call day accommodations
- Practice limited to one hospital location
- Moderate workload with diverse case mix
