Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its nationally recognized pediatric anesthesia team in Miami, Florida. This hospital-employed W-2 position offers the opportunity to practice in a highly specialized pediatric environment under the direct supervision of experienced pediatric anesthesiologists.

CRNAs in this role provide comprehensive anesthesia care for pediatric patients across a wide range of surgical and procedural settings. The position emphasizes patient safety, meticulous monitoring, and close collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and perioperative staff. The role includes participation in pre-anesthetic evaluations, anesthetic planning, intraoperative management, and post-anesthesia care. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pediatric anesthesia care under direct supervision of pediatric anesthesiologists
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and assist with anesthetic planning
• Manage airways, monitoring, and anesthesia documentation
• Support post-anesthesia recovery and patient evaluations

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (DNP or DNAP preferred)
• Active Florida APRN licensure
• Current NBCRNA certification
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Pediatric experience preferred
