Job Description

Banner Lassen Medical Center is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a PRN position in Susanville, California. This opportunity is based in a community hospital setting and offers CRNAs the ability to practice as an integral part of the care team while serving a close-knit Northern California community.

CRNAs in this role provide anesthesia services across a range of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and endoscopic procedures. The position follows a CRNA-only practice model and is well suited for providers who value independence, clinical variety, and a balanced lifestyle in a rural hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care
• Perform ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques
• Manage patients throughout the perioperative period
• Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to support patient safety
• Maintain accurate and timely anesthesia documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• $175 per hour for restricted coverage and activation
• $50 per hour for unrestricted call coverage
• W-2 employment status

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification in good standing
• Active, unrestricted California CRNA license
• Minimum of two years of clinical anesthesia experience
• Experience with ultrasound-guided nerve blocks
• Ability to practice independently in a hospital setting
