Job Description
Rangely District Hospital, a rural Critical Access Hospital in western Colorado, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its surgical care team. This is a flexible, weekday-only role focused on outpatient procedures, endoscopy, diagnostics, therapeutics, and pain management in a supportive and autonomous environment. No call, nights, or weekends required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage patients’ anesthesia and vital signs during procedures
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery support and pain management
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with the interprofessional team
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily pay rate: $1,500–$2,100
- W-2 PRN employment model
- No call, nights, or weekends
Job Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- NBCRNA certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in outpatient anesthesia, endoscopy, and pain management preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- PRN weekday shifts only
- No on-call responsibilities
- Supportive team in a rural hospital setting
