Job Description

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho, is seeking a PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide OB-only anesthesia coverage at the Birkeland Maternity Center. This role is ideal for CRNAs seeking flexible 24-hour shifts with no general OR responsibilities and guaranteed post-call recovery days.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer OB anesthesia including labor epidurals, CSEs, spinals, and general anesthesia for C-sections
• Perform blood patches and complete post-procedure documentation
• Collaborate with OB physicians in a dynamic labor and delivery setting
• Provide patient-centered care during labor and cesarean deliveries

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for licensure in the state of Idaho
• Experience in obstetric anesthesia preferred

Schedule & Work Environment

• Shift: 24-hour shifts, ideally once per week (flexible)
• Average volume: ~5 epidurals and 1–2 cesarean deliveries per shift
• Facility: 100-bed hospital with dedicated OB suite
• Birkeland Maternity Center: ~900–1200 deliveries per year
