Job Description

PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

UKH Olathe Pavilion Main Campus

Responsible for administering and monitoring anesthesia to patients during surgical and/or obstetrical procedures.

The Department of Anesthesiology at The University of Kansas Health System is seeking PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply. • CRNAs are integrated members of the anesthesia care team comprised of more than 100 CRNAs, 65 anesthesiologists, residents and anesthesia technicians

• Broad caseload in multiple surgical specialties – transplant, trauma, ortho, ENT, neurosurgery, OB and hearts. We welcome sub-specialty interests

• CRNAs perform a full range of procedures

• A minimum of 2 shifts per month and proof of malpractice for PRN staff

• 8, 10, 12-hour shifts

Job Qualifications

Successful completion of nursing anesthesia program, certification, and eligibility for licensure in the State of Kansas are required.
