Program Requirements

Required Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an NLNAC or CCNE accredited program completed before the application deadline.

An unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse.

1 year full time Acute Care experience as an RN. Acceptable critical care experience includes: Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neuro ICU, Neonatal ICU, Pediatric ICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, Cardiac Care Unit, Cardiovascular Recovery. The following do not qualify: Emergency Department, Recovery Room, Operating Room.

A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.

GRE, minimum scores of 153 verbal and 144 quantitative are required. The minimum acceptable combined score on the older version of the GRE is 1000. Scores must be from within the past 5 years.

Applicants must have completed the following prerequisite undergraduate courses with a B or better: General Chemistry, General Research.
