The University of Mobile’s Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) program is a Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)-accredited 36-month pathway housed within the School of Nurse Anesthesia that prepares registered nurses for careers as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Launched as the first and only DNAP program serving Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia, the curriculum combines classroom instruction, simulation lab experiences, and supervised clinical training in the Mobile metropolitan area to develop advanced anesthesia practice skills.

Program Requirements

    • Completion of undergraduate or graduate courses in health assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.
