Job Description

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) in Seattle, Washington, is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our collaborative Anesthesia team. This hospital-employed position provides anesthesia services in a team-based care model, covering a diverse caseload, including obstetrics at the Virginia Mason Birth Center. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and excellent work-life balance with a predictable schedule and minimal call requirements.

Job Qualifications

Licensure and Certifications:
– Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
– Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
– Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Preferred Qualifications:
– Two years of experience as a CRNA (obstetrics experience strongly encouraged).

Skills and Attributes:
– Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
– Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
– Ability to respond effectively in stressful or emergent situations.

Annual Estimated Salary or Payment

Starting salary: $240,300–$260,000 annually.
Additional benefits include:
– Up to $20,000 in annual opportunity compensation (pro-rated for FTE).
– Sign-on bonus and potential relocation assistance.
