Job Description

UH Elyria Medical Center and Mercy Lorain Hospital are seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our team. This role offers a competitive starting salary, flexible shift options, and a comprehensive benefits package. PRN positions are also available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of cases including general, ENT, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and endoscopy.
• Collaborate with the surgical and perioperative care team to ensure safe, effective anesthesia delivery.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and make appropriate intraoperative adjustments.
• Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: $245,000 (effective October 2025).
• $2,000 annual increase for each year of experience (up to 10 years).
• $5,000 sign-on bonus.
• 5 weeks of vacation to start, increasing to 6 weeks in the 5th full year.

• CME allowance up to $2,100 annually.
• AANA dues paid.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current Ohio CRNA license (or eligibility).
• NBCRNA certification or recertification.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Ability to manage a broad range of surgical cases independently.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Choice of 5×8-hour shifts or 4×10-hour shifts.
• PRN positions available.
• Collaborative team environment across two hospital campuses.
